PomoForest was created as a simple focus and productivity tool. You can use the site without creating an account.

1. No account is required

You can use your focus routine in PomoForest without creating an account. Currently, PomoForest does not have an account system that stores your task list, focus history, or personal preferences in its own database.

2. Data stored on your device

PomoForest uses browser storage features, such as local storage, to remember information needed for the app to work.

This may include timer durations, completed focus sessions, task names and categories, selected scenes, sound levels, language, interface preferences, and locally generated statistics.

This information is stored by your browser on your own device. PomoForest does not receive your task list, focus history, local statistics, or settings saved in the browser.

3. Music and folders selected from your device

When you select an audio file or a folder containing music, the browser creates local references so the files can be played in PomoForest as a track or playlist.

PomoForest does not send these files to a server.

Browser security rules may require you to select the files or folder again after closing, reloading, or returning to the page. You are responsible for having permission to play any selected audio.

4. Timer reminders and browser permissions

Timer reminders can play local alert sounds and update the browser tab title when a focus or break period ends. You can disable these reminders in the Customize panel.

PomoForest does not currently request permission to send browser notifications.

PomoForest does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or precise location.

5. Usage analytics

PomoForest automatically loads Google Analytics to understand general traffic and product usage, including page visits and general device and approximate-region information.

This information helps identify errors, understand general site usage, and improve the experience. Google Analytics data is not combined with task names, local playlists, personal settings, or focus history stored in your browser.

Google may process identifiers, cookies, or similar technologies according to its own privacy policies and terms. Browser privacy controls, content blockers, and cookie settings may limit this processing.

6. Hosting logs and technical data

The site is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical request information, such as IP address, browser details, requested files, access date and time, and security signals to provide, protect, and keep the site running.

These technical logs are handled by the hosting provider according to its own policies.

7. Feedback and external links

The Feedback page links to a Google form. Information submitted through that form will be sent to Google and will not remain stored only on your device.

External links to music, attributions, licenses, or other websites are governed by the privacy policies of their respective services.

8. Your choices and deleting data

You can:

  • Clear PomoForest site data in your browser to remove locally stored tasks, settings, and statistics.
  • Disable timer reminders in the Customize panel.
  • Use browser privacy settings or content blockers to limit cookies and analytics tools.
  • Stop using the site at any time without needing to close an account.

9. Children and sensitive information

PomoForest is a general productivity tool and was not designed to collect sensitive personal information.

Do not include passwords, financial information, health records, or other confidential data in task names, categories, or feedback messages.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when PomoForest adds new features, integrations, or relevant data practices.

When a revision is published, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated.
